Phosphorus and potassium become more essential as flowering progresses. The goal of flowering is reproduction, it produces a large amount of genes (DNA) and is associated with a high energy requirement. The phosphate is used as a building block.
Potassium is key in moving water and nutrients from the roots to the leaves. It also controls CO2 absorption and has a significant impact on photosynthesis. From the middle of the flowering phase or when flowering noticeably slows down, Phosphorus Plus is given in combination with Bloom Complex. Why not before? Before this point it is simply not necessary, the PK values from the Bloom complex are quite sufficient. Too high a P and K concentration would impede the absorption of essential minerals or even lead to deficiency symptoms.
