The breakdown of cellulose and other polysaccharides is an important process in the microbiological ecosystem that exists in the rhizosphere (the area around the roots of plants). Nature has its own way of decomposing these compounds, but for many high-efficiency breeding cultures this process is either non-existent or too slow.
To ensure that the organic molecules are broken down effectively, MTX EnZym is added to the substrate. This product contains a mixture of enzymes that convert polysaccharides into monosaccharides.
This last group of molecules, unlike polysaccharides, are water soluble and can therefore be washed away. This is especially important when using inert substrates such as rockwool or coco to cultivate your plants.
